Real-time customs operations, from your phone
The Client
ADAU brings together customs brokers and agents focused on faster, more professional foreign-trade operations. For this project we partnered with Mega6—who commissioned us and operates the backend—while our team designed and built the mobile app used day-to-day by port staff.
The Challenge
In port operations, each DUA (customs declaration) can move through multiple states in minutes. Teams needed a way to:
- Get instant visibility on the status of their DUAs without calls or spreadsheets.
- Receive real-time push notifications with full read-traceability (who saw what, and when).
- Support a multi-company reality for brokers and role-based access (Operator / Supervisor).
- Use a private, secure channel with a UX that works while walking, outdoors, or under time pressure.
The Solution
Tech stack used:
We delivered a hybrid Angular mobile app (iOS/Android, private distribution) that centralizes DUAs and alerts in a clean, fast workflow.
How it works
- DUAs list: all declarations assigned to the broker, with filters (e.g., folder code, date range) and quick access to each DUA's alert history.
- Alerts feed: chronological changes (e.g., status updated, scanner selected) with an expanded view and automatic "read" stamping when opened.
- Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging, including deep links and quick actions (open DUA / mark as read).
- Traceability: every alert records user + timestamp of first view for operational KPIs and audits.
- Multi-company + roles: one login for all companies a broker manages; Supervisors get team-level views.
- NEW! badge persists on a DUA until the user enters that DUA's detail.

Target Ecosystem
The platform is built for customs broker associations and agencies seeking full traceability and better client service, as well as for logistics operators, terminals, and free zones that require reliable, real-time operational communication. It also empowers software companies in foreign trade looking to accelerate their mobile front-end integration while maintaining control of their own back-end systems.
