The Client
AlbaSoft is a long-standing platform (born in the 90s) that powers end-to-end meat-processing traceability—from slaughterhouse to export. Over time the core stack became legacy; UI patterns diverged, changes were costly, and day-to-day use slowed down. The mandate: modernize for the next decade without disrupting production, while keeping every device and regulatory touchpoint in sync.
The Challenge
We needed to unify workflows for floor operators, quality, logistics, administration, and export teams; cut data-entry errors; and coexist with a legacy backend exposed via APIs. On the edge, the system had to talk to industrial scales, label printers, handheld scanners, plus government web services and e-invoicing—all with a low learning curve for users on mixed hardware.

- Angular front-end decoupled from the core, routed through Amazon API Gateway to the client's APIs.
- Deep integrations: scales, industrial printers, barcode/RFID scanners, government web services, and electronic invoicing—removing manual steps.
